Inside the Abdeen Palace Museum, you will see numerous weapons presented to President Mubarak, as well as a collection of ancient weapons and exquisite decorations gifted by distinguished figures and the royal family of Egypt.
The palace is located above Qasr El-Nil Street, in the east-central area of Cairo, in the Abdeen neighborhood of Old Cairo. The palace serves as one of the official residences and workplaces of the president, with the museum situated on the ground floor. Previously, a large mansion owned by Abdeen Bey stood on the same site, which is why the palace took the name Abdeen Palace. It is one of the most sumptuous palaces in the world, with paintings, ornaments, and clocks throughout its halls, many of which are decorated with pure gold.
